“I am supporting the Ready Foundation because I know first-hand the value of endowments. I am the department chair of a large academic department at a major research university. We recently have had two different donors give our department endowments that total over $1 million dollars (plus we have additional endowments for professorships and student scholarships). The principal has been invested and is already generating income for our department, income that will continue forever. Right now, we are getting over $50,000 per year in earnings from our million-dollar endowment to help supplement the budget the university gives us. That makes a huge difference in what we can do as a department, and I know a similar endowment for Royal Rangers would make a lasting difference for our ministry too. Money invested in an endowment today will help the ministry long after the donor is gone. I ask everyone to prayerfully consider joining with me to partner with the Ready Foundation to create a substantial endowment for the Royal Rangers ministry so it will have the financial resources it needs to reach boys for Christ until Jesus returns.”

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support and endorsement for the READY Foundation, a cause that holds great significance for me. Having served as the Northern California and Nevada District Commander from 1989 to 1999, followed by the role of Southwest Region RR Coordinator from 1997 to 1999, I have witnessed the transformative impact of the Royal Rangers program on the lives of boys and the urgent need for resources to support its mission.

Before my involvement with the National Royal Rangers office in 1999, I spent nearly two decades as a successful businessman, running multiple businesses from 1976 to 1996. This background allowed me to build connections with fellow businessmen, both within and outside the church community. It became evident to me that many individuals were eager to support Royal Rangers due to its goal of "Reaching, Teaching, and Keeping boys for Christ."

Upon assuming the role of National Royal Rangers Commander to revitalize the Royal Rangers program, I recognized the need to develop Eagle Rock Campground. Over the course of 6-7 years, and with the support of Royal Rangers and generous donations from various businesses, we achieved remarkable progress in the development of Eagle Rock Camp. However, with new developments comes the ongoing need for maintenance.

This is where the READY Foundation steps in as a vital solution. The foundation provides a strategic avenue to raise funds for Royal Rangers, covering essentials such as camping equipment, camps, uniforms, and more. The READY Foundation's focus on maintaining Eagle Rock Campground aligns seamlessly with the long-term vision for sustaining the infrastructure and facilities developed with great effort.

I firmly believe that the "29.11 Project" is a beacon of hope, ensuring a secure and thriving future for the Royal Rangers program. The dedication of the business community, including myself, to support and contribute to this project is a testament to our shared belief in the positive impact Royal Rangers has on young lives.

May the READY Foundation continue to flourish, serving as a steadfast source of support for Royal Rangers. I extend my blessings to you and all those involved in this noble cause.
